THE CHALLENGE

“No!” Harry exclaimed

“But why not? Don’t you want an adventure?” Liam asked.

“Yes I do, but not climbing the highest Mountain in the country! It’s too high and you know that I’m afraid of highs” Harry said.

“This is your chance to challenge your fear! Come on Harry” Liam said. Harry thought about what Liam said than spoke “Fine, but if I fall and die I’m not gonna forgive you”.

“But how can you if you will be died” Liam asked.

“exactly”.

“You’re weird”.

“Okay, not here is the mountain” Liam said smiling and looking up at the mountain.

“Liam, I’m scared, I don’t think if I can” Harry said frowning.

“Come on man, you’re not a kid you will make it” Liam said smiling to Harry “Oh, and to make the challenge more interesting, we have to get to the top before the sunset”.

“No way! I can’t do that!” Harry yelled.

“Come on Harry! it is now or never” Liam said with a serious face.

“I hate you”.

Liam laughed which made Harry chuckle. After some moments, they nodded atoeach other and started to climb. Liam was excited but Harry was terrified.

After some hours, they were in the middle of climbing and harry was still scared.

“Liam, I’m starting to get tired and it’s so freaking cold here”.

“Harry we’ve just climbed half of the mountain, get use to this”.

“fine!”.

They were almost there and the things were good. But suddenly, Liam foot slipped. He was hanging from the mountain and he was barely holding to it.

“Harry!! help me!!” Liam yelled at the top of his lungs.

Harry put his hand on the top when he looked down and saw Liam “Oh my god! Liam, you’re going to fall!!” Harry shouted.

“oh really! Tell me about it!!” Liam shouted “Now stop talking and come help me or I will fall!!” Liam said and his other foot slipped “Please Harry!!”

“Okay, okay!!” Harry said and climbed down slowly. He then bent a little bit to reach Liam’s hand. “liam give me your hand!!” Harry shouted

“I can’t! I will fall!!”

“Trust me Liam, I’m not going to let you fall! You’re my best mate and I’m not letting you go!” Harry said seriously.

Liam hesitated for a moment then took Harry’s hand quickly.

“Come on Liam!! You’re almost there!!” Harry yelled pulling liam with him.

Harry helped Liam until they reached the top and the sun was about to set.

Liam went to Harry and gave him a crashing hug “thank you Harry for helping me, I’m not gonna forget this for the rest of my life” Liam said against the crook of his neck.

“I-I c..can’t breathe” Harry said out of breath.

"Oh sorry” Liam said pulling away.

“You’re welcome Liam, I told you, you’re my best mate forever and always, and you helped me too to challenge my fear and here I am at the top of a mountain” Harry said smiling.

“No problem mate” Liam said as he sat on the floor while Harry stood there. They watched the sunset happily and proud of their selves.

“Liam...”

“Yes”

“How are we going to get down?”
